⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Okay, I was sold at “haunted spaceship.” Then it turns out the ship has a singsong Irish accent, a neuro-mechanical brain, and a very enthusiastic response to Alan at the controls. What a gloriously weird setup. Sexy Spaceship, Seductress Spy is a very Tiffany blend: a whole 1920s space age humming along, corporate scheming, and a ship who is absolutely not shy about what she wants. I liked the mechanical bits—2D Transference, meteor dodging, orbital stations—because the world feels like somebody actually thought through how it works. Because It’s J. Tiffany Noore’s first story, it’s still a bit rough around the edges, although with a lot of promise.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ When Alan Tremayne slides his hand over the hull of a spaceship and it moans delightfully, you know what you’re in for. It starts out as Alan’s search for his parents. Then, J. Tiffany Noore takes the roaring 1920s and adds space travel, a horny spaceship that creates a gynoid body for herself, a seductress spy, industrial espionage, a prim and proper barrister, and habitats on the moon. It’s the first story Noore published as newbie author, and you can tell she’s still finding her footing. But the creativity and energy are decidedly there. And the author invented her own new genre called Ensemble Haremlit. Follow this promising new storyteller.
